Loquat Puree

Some guests come to my home with a lot of loquat fruits. I don’t have any idea what to do with that. I search any loquat puree recipe for babies but not found a single one.

So I tried my own recipe and my son loves it. Hey moms if your babies are not too much sweet lovers then loquat puree will be a yummy recipe for them. Your moody baby will surely like its very little sour taste.

Before telling the recipe I will surely want to discuss some benefits of loquat for babies with you.

Loquat is an amazing fruit that helps to improve the vision of your babies. It is enriched with the Vitamin A that is an essential vitamin for the eyesight.

Healthy Bones and Teeth

Bone strength and strong teeth are very important for the development of a baby. Loquat also helpful to strengthen the bones and teeth of your baby.

Deals constipation

I experienced while giving this puree to my baby that it keep your baby stomach clean. If your baby is facing the constipation problem, loquat puree will be helpful to deal with it.

Ingredients

  • 6-8 loquat
  • 1 tablespoon yogurt (optional)
  • Half teaspoon sugar/honey (optional)

Method for loquat puree

Step 1 Take 6-8 loquat and wash it
Step 2 Peel the loquat and take off the seed
Step 3 Now add the slices in a clean bowl
Step 4 Mash it with the fork or the masher.
Step 5 If you want to blend it then add the peeled loquat in the blender
Step 6 Blend it for 2 minutes or until you get the desired texture.
Step 7 Loquat puree for babies is ready.
Step 8 You can also add a tablespoon of yogurt in it
Step 9 You can also add half teaspoon of sugar/honey to make it sweet
Step 10 It can be given to 6 month+ babies
