How much milk baby requires in a day?

Milk is an important element of the baby’s diet. Sometime mothers just give milk to their babies and do not give enough solid to them.

Alert! The excess intake of milk can be the reason of iron deficiency in your babies. So it is very important to give the proper amount of milk to your babies.

Here I am telling you the requirement of baby milk intake as per their age.

0-3 Months of Age

Breastfeed your babies every 1-3 hour. If you are giving formula milk to babies, then give at least 18-40 ounce daily to fulfill their milk intake requirement.

4-5 Month of Age

Now with the growing age the need of baby milk intake is also increasing. Breastfeed your babies every 2-4 hours. If you are giving formula milk to babies, then give at least 24-45 ounce daily to fulfill baby milk intake requirement.

6-8 Month of Age

In this age, it is recommended to introduce your baby with the solid food. So the milk intake will slightly reduce so that your baby can enjoy the solids.
Breastfeed your babies every 3-4 hour. If you are giving formula milk to your babies, then give at least 24-37 ounce daily to fulfill their milk intake requirement.

9-12 Month of Age

Breastfeed your babies every 4-5 hour. If you are giving formula milk to babies, then give at least 24-31 ounce daily to fulfill their milk intake requirement.
